Cloud base
A visual forecast; it can be calculated from the difference between temperature and dew point. The real base can rise and fall, and local fog models may mislead.
A single wind number is not enough for flights from Babadağ to Ölüdeniz. Source-identified measurement, regional model, altitude profile and current field notification are separate layers.
Model forecast is calculated for a specific grid and altitude; it is not the same as the value measured by an anemometer at the actual launch. Sensor measurement is labeled live only when the station connection, time stamp and validity limit are verified. If there is no model or sensor, a new flight evaluation should not be produced based on old data.
ICON, ECMWF, ARPEGE and UKMO wind forecasts can be used in the panel; model divergence is a sign of uncertainty. When there is a connection or provider error, the number of available models may decrease.
The direction degree expresses the direction from which the wind comes. Average wind and gust difference provide a risk indicator; the gust difference itself is not a direct turbulence measurement. Turbulence is related to updrafts and irregular air movements; factors such as rugged terrain, wind shear and convection are also considered.
The descent profile on the page is an interpolation from fixed regional model levels. It is not the personal route wind measured during flight; local breezes or rotors may deviate from this profile as altitude decreases.
A visual forecast; it can be calculated from the difference between temperature and dew point. The real base can rise and fall, and local fog models may mislead.
The percentage is the probability of the event predicted by the model; it is not the exact precipitation duration or local intensity. Read it along with the hourly precipitation amount.
CAPE and model updraft indicators are for interpretation; they are not proof of thermal presence at take-off or at every point of the route.
The change in wind speed and direction at different altitudes. When examining the profile, consider the resolution of the model levels.
The AI summary only interprets the model and measurement information provided to it. It does not produce new measurements, nor does it verify local field observations or official launch status. If no briefing arrives, evaluate this as missing data.
This page is for educational purposes. Current authorized field announcements, on-site observation, airspace rules and the pilot's own evaluation are primary.
