On this site the standard last flight is tied to sunset: it is set before sunset by the same margin as the latest entry of the Fethiye Slot Centre (about 30 minutes in early October) and rounded down to 5 minutes. The last ticket is always one hour before the last flight. On 8 October, with sunset at 18:37, the site shows last flight 18:05 and last ticket 17:05; both move earlier every day as the sunset does.
If the Fethiye Slot Centre enters different times for a day, that entry always takes priority. After the last flight time every launch is shown as Not suitable.
As the days get shorter the ground warms less, thermals become weaker and the air is more often stable. Low cloud and rain can appear more often; when the cloud base comes close to launch height, a launch is first shown as Risky and then as Not suitable.
Near sunset the wind direction can turn quickly. A land breeze at the Ölüdeniz landing (wind blowing from the land towards the sea) is always shown as at least Risky.
The hours card on the live panel shows sunrise, sunset, last ticket and last flight. The forecast strip on every launch page marks the hours after the last flight as outside daylight.
